Ahmed Paul Keeler, is a remarkable figure whose vision has transformed the way Islamic civilization is understood in the western world. As the driving force behind the World of Islam Festival in 1976, he brought together Islamic art, architecture, and scholarship to share the profound beauty and wisdom of the Muslim world with global audiences.

His lifelong dedication to fostering intercultural dialogue continues to inspire and enlighten. We are honoured to have Ahmed Paul Keeler in his keynote speech, the Power of Islamic Art and its transformative impact on his life.

What is Islamic Art Week?

Islamic Art Week is a global annual celebration of Islamic Art. It is founded by the Global Centre of Islamic Art (GCIA). Islamic Art Week happens over 7 days usually the 3rd week of November which coincides with The International Day of Islamic Art that was coined by UNESCO to be held on the 18th of November every year.

It is a week to experience the beauty, magic and transformation of Islamic Art on every level individual, family, community, organisation, country and global level.

When is the Islamic Art Week?

Islamic Art Week will be held from 16th- 22nd November 2024. Saturday to Friday!

Is this event virtual?

Yes, all the sessions will be streamed live and online so you can access it from anywhere in the world.

How long do I have access to the replay bundle?

It is a lifetime access! So, you can relive all the sessions as many times as you want!

What happens during Islamic Art week?

We will hold 33+ workshops that cover everything about Islamic Art from Islamic Geometry to Applied Islamic Art and more.

What time zone the event is held?

All workshops will be in GMT. You can convert to your time zone by using this time zone converter.

Are replays available?
